love what can be seen. Looks similar to the 70-72 big block/ LT1 hood. But FUNCTIONAL!

Here's hoping for end of January announcement. Either way, I'm hoping to see bigger 2017 Z06 MSRP discounts beginning February and heading into the Bash.

Hood design looks similar to the ZL1, probably for good reason. I'm sure it'll look badass when revealed. Still can't see if the front fenders have spats. Kinda looks like the new front fascia incorporates the flares and then there are actual spats on the trailing edges of the wheel wells.

Hearing they may show it at the 24hrs of Daytona race since it wasn't at the Detroit show. If not maybe Chicago show, they like to do a lot of the muscle/sport car releases there too.

In 2013 GM filed for L88 trademark but nothing more recent that I'm aware of. If they are planning for the winged car to be their most track focused of the Corvette stable then L88 would be appropriate. GM once raced an L88 at LeMans back in 1969 or 1970. L88 is the high water mark for Corvette roadracing and rarity.

However, RPO L88 was just an engine option package name like RPO L79 was. It wasn't an optional package RPO like the original Z06 and ZR1 were. I am not sure they would make a model out of RPO L88 like they did the ZR1. I could see a ZR1 with RPO L88 engine just as the Z06 has the RPO LT4 engine.
