Anyone on aftermarket lowering bolts have issues?
Really wanting to go lower than the lowest on stock bushings that I have now. Still not low enough using stock bolts as far as they go right now.
I don't track. Will maybe go once when they open up the track here in Texas, but wondering if anyone has had any issues with just street use. I had them on my C6 with no problems.

I'm bottomed out on the stock bolts and all is well. Had the car on the rack right after and the tech only made a few minor adjustments. For all I know, the adjustments could have been required even prior to the lowering.

My Z06 is lowered on stock bolts and I have had no issues. I drive mine approx. 3 times a week (some rough paved roads as well), track occasionally, and autocross 3-5 times a year. I currently have 19,000 miles on mine and I will never go back as I do not like the gap from fenders and tires from the factory. Our cars are low already but when mine is parked next to our other Corvette Club members, you can definitely tell. I say go for it!

I guess I stated the question incorrectly. I'm looking for anyone that has gone with aftermarket lowering bolts. I'm already as low as I can go on stock bolts and it's still too high.

I have experience going with aftermarket lowering bolts on my LS3 C6. I wouldn't recommended it because the bushing wore out quick and when the car was in motion the bolts would squeak. This was a few years ago and its possible that they have better aftermarket options now. On my Z, I lowered on stock bolts and so far no issues.

This ride height is just too high for my taste after going all the way on stock bolts, especially the rear. I can't justify the $3k+ price of LG's drop spindles though.

Guys whoever has done this, when you’re done turning the bolts (finished lowering the car), are they supposed to stick up higher out of the leaf than before or lower?
Im thinking I raised my rears lol. They stick down lower now where just the end of the bolt is protruding up out of the leaf. And my rear is sitting higher. I thought it maybe due to it sitting jacked up for a while but I’m thinking I may have to redo them.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

yes $40 bolts sounds better than $3k spindles
the cost of a Honda Civic sounds better than the price of c7z
imo the only right way to get the slammed look while improving handling keeping full suspension travel is the spindles
if deminished handling/ride quality/longevity are ok
buy all means go the cheap route
Our cars are depreciating money pits that happen to bring great joy.

There are thousands of C5, C6 and C7's that are lowered on either aftermarket or stock bolts with NO issues. GM designed it that way, unfortunately, they just didn't make it where you could slam it (for reasons none other than hazards on public roads and delivery issues, not because it was bad for the car). Also, GM doesn't sell you drop spindles, that's strictly an aftermarket thing. Lowering a C7 Z with bolts isn't necessarily the cheap way. I've seen people destroy their shocks without their car even being lowered. To each their own.
