My 2016 Z06/Z07 comes home!
I purchased my 2016 Z06 about a month ago and shared a vlog about the experience my son and I had picking it up from the dealership. The Z06 went directly from the dealership into storage. I have a new vlog now chronicling my son and I bringing my Z06 and his 2008 C6 Corvette home for the first time -- and during February in Nebraska of all months...who could've guessed the weather would be this great!

Thanks, Guys. I appreciate you watching. I spent way too many hours putting this vlog together, so I wanted to share it out with as many friends as I could!

Thanks so much for the note...with as many corvettes as I've owned in the past, you'd think I would've known this already. At least I do now, just in case it ever happens again. I hope I've learned my lesson about not taking care of the battery on the vette through the winter.

Awesome video and beautiful cars. I admire your expertise when it comes to the video. I'm lucky to be able to figure out how to turn on my iPhone. It's great to see a father and son doing car stuff together. Our son, who is also a car guy, moved to Scottsdale last summer and I really miss him.

Beautiful car! I'm partial to that Laguna Blue color LOL! I got mine a little over 2 weeks ago and have been able to go on two cruises with it because the weather has been in the 50's and 60's here in Colorado. Got a clear bra put on and will have mud flaps put on next week. Here in Colorado it seems like every road has loose sand and gravel on it and it makes you cringe as you drive along hearing all the debris hit your car. Oh and watch out for the pot holes. I hit a huge one the other day at 50 mph and it was big enough that my front spitter got scraped in two places. Congrats and have fun with it!

I enjoy your videos! Here is a tip I learned from another Nebraskan in case you weren't aware of it. If you buy a specialty plate in Nebraska, and you only get one. Guess where it goes. Here's mine. I had it on my Laguna Blue 15 Z and put in on my 16 Z when I got it. They cost an extra Fifty Dollars a year.

You do it all on line. Google Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles Specialty Plate. Follow directions. Pick out what you want your plate to say. If what you want on your plate is not taken,( you will know immediately) pay your fifty dollars with your credit card and wait to hear from your local DMV when your plate arrives. I think it takes six to eight weeks. Go down and pick up your plate. You have to turn in an old plate and pay a reregistration fee when you pick up your Specialty Plate. Let me know how it works out. Good Luck.
