Looking to install lower pulley-do I need a tune?
Is a tune a must? Anybody blowing up yet? Thanks in advance for your input guys in advance..

yes you should do a tune any time you perform any mods especially if you have an auto. it's not just about fuel trims any more, these are torque based controllers and if the torque model is off just a little bit your shifts can be clunky and awkward or in some cases, late/no shift issues at WOT.

^^^ I'm running 10.70 with cai, on stock tires.. if I could pick up a couple of tenths it would be worth it to me.. just a little worried about blowing up..

Definatly get tuned with the lower pulley install. We use the IW 18% lower.
Here is our shop car with a bolt on setup and 109/93 mix in the tank. Feel free to call us about your setup.
