So I just got dusted off by a stock Hellcat?!

Scraping the splitter.
It really is quite impressive that we're talking about how GM's fastest car compares in acceleration to a 4400# sedan or a 4500# 4-door (that's just as fast). That says a lot for the Hellcats.
But yeah, lol...I'd guess one would last a few laps driven hard on a road course. I would think first the brakes would start to give out, then the tires. However, that's not really the intended purpose of the car.

A Hellcat will not keep up with ZO6
We all know that a Hellcat will not keep up with a ZO6 in a straight line or a road course. They are great looking muscle cars but they are heavy and non aerodynamic compared to our phenomenal ZO6. I would have bought the Hellcat if I thought I would win at the drags with it. This isn't the case so I went with the best choice a C7 ZO6! 😀

Not a Hellcat against my Z51
I have raced several Hellcats at our track and they were not even a race for me...

Yes sir...it runs 10.20s 1/4 mi....it is not stock but it is my daily driver...I drive it to Walmart....on trips...everywhere ....but I also almost messed up and bought a HELLCAT... Glad I didn't...I love my Z51...I do NOT street race ever and I do not show off and NOT into racing from a roll....I only drag race from a dead stop on a Dragstrip....then I get down and dirty...and there are a lot of cars faster then mine,,,I am a 70 yr old man and this is my therapy....be safe sir and keep the right side up...

Certainly not the cars purpose, but that kind of should go without saying.

FWIW - I've seen videos on FB from HC owners consistently beating C7 ZO6's. There was one where the ZO6 and HC were going back and forth between winning. If anything it's interesting to watch.

Advanced
I have a HC Challenger and it absolutely requires drag radials to hook. But aside from that, it's a hell of a car, pun intended. A8 guys would particularly appreciate the way its trans is quicker to process your paddle command.
Of course, it's a completely different car than the Z06... especially if you're a big guy. I'm 6'4 270 and I barely fit the C7... by contrast, the big MOPARS have lotsa room and make for super comfortable daily drivers.
HC Challenger suspension hardware and software are great, but they can't defeat the laws of physics. While you can have a fun time on the twisties, you'll never forget how big and heavy the car is.
Here are some slips from my stock 'Cat with DRs:

The HellCats are fast, put down really strong rwhp numbers stock (must be a super efficient drive line or they ARE under rated), respond better to boltons than our car, and are beyond simple to drive fast in a straight line (don't have snap oversteer). Obviously I like the Z06 better but there are a lot of nice things about them.

I've been starring at those pics for 10 minutes and can't find anything, (with exception to the wheels) attractive.

I raced a stock A8 Hellcat from a roll in my stock Z.. we were dead even from 50-115.
The hellcat engine makes more power than the LT4 (and loses less in the drivetrain, too) but the weight difference keeps it close. From a dig I could see the Z06 taking it with the bigger/stickier tires

When I went to Bondurant, the instructors had the 392 Chargers. I did a few "hot laps" with the chief instructor...I was amazed at how fast he could get the car around the track. It was somewhat humbling actually.
Congrats on the ne ride.
