Default DSC controller says I have a shock problem...

I suddenly have the dreaded 'service suspension' error message.
My DSC controller fault codes says that the left front shock is drawing too much electric current.
Anyone ever hear of this? Is a shock replacement the solution?
Coincidentally I found some neon green looking fluid on a bolt head under the car while doing an oil change on the front left side of the car near the left side exhaust pipe where it comes down from the manifold.
Everything looked dry..

Anyone experience this or have any ideas?
I have an appointment at the dealer for next friday.

Ron

I would plug the factory shock controller back in and remove the DSC as step one. Dealer isnt going to be able to diagnose ANYTHING on the suspension with the DSC installed

I spoke to the Corvette mechanic there. I am friendly with him and know him for a long time. He said I can leave the DSC in there.
I cleared the fault codes in the DSC and the service suspension message has not returned. I DID accidentally & unknowingly start the car without a calibration file loaded into the DSC prior to this starting. I am wondering if this was the problem. I called DSC but they wouldn't say what they thought the possible cause was.
I will keep the appointment anyway to let him check the car out.

About the neon green fluid I saw, anyone have any ideas?

From experience, scanning a car with a DSC module just comes up as a non communicating suspension module when using GM GDS2 scan tools. Nothing more can be seen. Take that for what its worth. I never started the car without a calibration file, so not sure what that does. You could always try it again and see what, if any, errors you get.

Bright green fluid under the car is almost always AC PAG oil, but typically that's passenger side and a compressor leaking, not on the drivers. Other option would be coolant, but only if someone has switched away from Dexcool.

UPDATE:
So I cleared the fault code in the DSC & since I did that the service suspension message has not returned. I canceled my dealer appointment. I am going to chalk it up to either just a 1 time weird issue or it was caused by when I started the car accidentally with no calibration file on the DSC.
