Default E15 blend to raise octane for 91 pump gas only areas?

Please no inexperienced comments. Can the fuel system accommodate this? It already must make adjustments for E10. This would be to get pump 91 up to or close to 93 as cheaply as possible without buying race gas to blend it in 55 gallon drums or Torco which I've heard GM does not approve to be run. (It leaves deposits). I see the 2016 manual has a line that says nothing with more than 15% ethanol. Im taking delivery of a 2017 z06 soon and dont really want to be buying 55gal drums of race gas to make advertised power.

I've had this same thought. Assuming E85 is 105 octane, 3 gallons E85 mixed with the remainder of the 18.6 gallon tank being 91 octane pure gas should result in E14 and just over 93 octane.

My other option is to mix in 4 gallons of 101 unleaded race gas from a 55 gallon drum at $7.50 per gallon. Or torco.
