No Tune TB/X-PIPE/CAI in 2017 Z (Whose throwing Codes)
Discussion on some of the other treads has several forum participants reporting the combination on the 2017 Z is predisposed to running lean and/or throwing codes on a no tune installation.
I have a Mamo TB, Borla Xpipe and AFE CAI enroute. Do not want to do the tune.
How many out there have tried the above configuration and experienced issues? How many have tried the above and everything is running well?

warm times of the year, everyone should be fine.
its when it gets cold that the fun begins. The codes don't hurt the car, and I don't think the cars run lean, so its nothing to stress about... just scares the s*** out of you when you are going 150mph and your car shuts off basically... and then after you get off at the next exit, and determine you will try to drive it home even tho you are in reduced engine power mode, you make such low HP and Torque, that you can only get the car to 45mph by the end of an onramp to the hiway, and you almost get ran over by semi trucks running 70mph who probably think you are an idiot.
Your car might throw a code initially after adding the mods, but wont go into reduced engine power mode, so just ignore it... car will learn to accept things in a day or 2 of driving. They are programmed to throw engine lights when they detect big changes to how they were prior. Those lights eventually shut off it seems. p0106 is the one that puts you into limp mode. The others mean very little and go away it seems.
oh, and if you have a 17 or 18, get the GM p0106 reflash done FIRST. (dealer looks to see if you have mods if you come in with that code, GM tells them to scope out your intake system and pulleys to find aftermarket components, try to void your warranty, so beware) The reflash makes it so you don't hit the code as easily. If you run hard in the cold, you may still hit it even after the reflash, depends on your altitude and if you keep modding with pulleys and such.
