What is currently the loudest available reliable exhaust that wont affect the warranty that is available? What kind of HP increases would it offer and cost of total install (parts, labor and tuning)?

Does the check engine light stay on when you add the Akrapovic or the BB Bullets? Im assuming you cant change the drive modes anymore can you?

For the most "in your face" loud sound the Corsa Xtreme or Akrapovic` with the x-pipe as others have mentioned takes the cake! I like the B&B Fusion myself for one that retains bi-mode as it has an increased volume but good tone too. They do offer the Bullets also as a louder option without the integration of the NPP system. Check engine light does not appear with Akrapovic's Evolution Exhaust. You still can maintain the opening and closing of valves via the drive mode.

I have the Akrapovic exhaust and it is very loud but in a great way. I had the same exhaust on my 2013 Z06 also. I get compliments all the time. I was told you're not going to be able to get it pretty soon. I don't know how much truth there is to that though..

That's correct. Akrapovic stopped selling the full Evolution System for Z06 in the United States around the summer of last year. The Slip-On (only the muffler) is still available for sale but not the Evolution which comes with the link pipes.

I've called on the Akrapovic Evolution system and learned that this is a distribution issue. At the moment, the US distributor for Akrapovic is located in California. Based upon current California laws, it is illegal to sell exhaust systems that modify the emission systems - hence why the Evolution system that removes the secondary cats cannot legally be distributed through California. So this is not a permanent issue - Akrapovic Evo systems will likely be available again someday when either the distributor changes or they find a way to import via a different state in the US.

This is correct. Until the EPA changes it's laws (which isn't outside the realm of possibility under the current Government) these will not be sold in the U.S. anymore as HRE is the official U.S. distributor and they are based in California.

You can wait to see if the laws change or if Akrapovic decides to want to find a way around it or you can order through me right away.

The Akrapovic evolution system cost's a pretty penny, but it's worth every penny. Don't even bother trying to listen to video's online because they don't remotely do the system justice. Best mod I've done on my car.

Lol, it isn't quite THAT bad, but is pretty loud! If you get into 5th-7th gear pretty quick it isn't terrible.

I just updated photos of mine for sale in the F/S section if anyone wants a loud but good sounding axle back

Couldn't order the Akrapovic Evolution system so I ordered the slip on instead. Won't be here in two weeks! Can't wait to get them installed after seeing that video above!!!

You won't be disappointed. I have the akra slip on with a corsa x pipe and it sounds amazing. Nice, smooth sound like an exotic or formula 1 car when revved
