OP, HCI c6z will cost around $40-$50k which will walk stock c7z and a C7z that can beat the HCI C6z will cost well over $100k after getting upgraded pullies, intake, headers, E85 kit plus a tune and voiding warranty

The C7 interior is better than the C6 interior. Period.

My friend has a 2JZ s2000, that will **** on your C6Z. So there's that. And his build was cheaper than your HCI Z.

Sure...buy that C7 ZO6 and when they come out with some thing faster, waste your money and sell the Z and buy that as well. Let's be honest, you want the faster car that will impress your so called friends! Get the C7! However, many us have been down this road. C6 ZO6 over the outdated C5 ZO6, LS3 better than only 405 HP LS6, King of the Hill greatest and fastest Corvette ZR-1 ever, of crap, the C7 ZO6 has 650 HP! This is getting old!

If if you love Corvettes, there is no bad one! I still think a 1975 Corvette is 😎!

The bottom line is buy a car you can live with for a long time. I love both my C5 ZO6 and C6 427 Convertible equally and don't think either one is outdated. Both was the fastest whatever at the time, and the C7 ZO6 will be eclipsed as well! We will have this same BS argument again in a couple of years.

Buy the C7 and be the cool person on the block for a year or two and don't get your feelings hurt at future Coffee and Cars event when no one noticed your car when next greatest come out. GM is doing their job.

The C7Z is the better car I owned a Z06 H/C modded etc and put 1100 miles on a C7Z no contest imo.

Like most things if its cost buy what fits your budget or wait and save.

As far you bringing up a M4 I've driven those too and think they look marginally better than the new M3 (M cars are getting wee bit bland and meshing together though) love those cars, but performance wise won't touch a C7Z or C6Z.
