My new track trailer for the Z
First off, let me say I swore I would never get a trailer. As I had rarely ever driven a truck and I have driven sports cars all my life, I didn't want to be driving a big truck let alone pulling a trailer. But my addiction known as road racing, has caused the change of heart. After being stranded several times several hours from home, I have made the leap. Several months ago, I ordered a new featherlight model 3182 which is 6 inches wider than standard to give a little extra clearance for a Corvette. The fenders are easily removable so you can open both the driver and passengers door with it up on the trailer. I opted to go for an air dam, tire rack, and 6000 pound winch is well. Here are a few pics from today....

VERY NICE!!!
What's it weigh?
Did you ever find any tire pressure sensor setup that you like?
Nice truck, too! I pull my trailer with an F-150 as well.

18ft 1400 lbs, the F150 has that new "backup pro trailer assist" where you take your hands off the steering wheel and it steers for you, you use a joystick on the dash, it's crazy...
I need to get the TPMS system yet, and a few other things, but slowly but surely I will learn this. It's very nerve racking at first as you don't want to damage you 100k plus car so this is all new to me...

Nice trailer, down the road get yourself a 3/4 ton diesel, not only does it tow anything, the difference in stability towing between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton is way different. Here is my tow rig (2016 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax Diesel) pulling about 10,500 lb's. This tilt bed trailer also will be towing the Z06 this year to some 1/2 mile events.

Nice trailer. I have the same setup. Have you tried loading the car yet? It fits great but you need ramp extensions sure to the splitter.

Nice trailer! I was looking at one just like that the other day. Did they professionally install the winch for you? I was also looking at adding the toolbox in front and dropping in an air compressor also. Very nice btw!!!

Any time you actively hit the track you simply need to tow both ways. Tires, breakage, tools, etc.
Nice trailer. Light and should be easy to tow. I towed with a 1/2 ton Chebby for a few years. It was fine, but wouldn't have been for much more time. Just not stout enough to take that kind of workload for 10s of thousands of miles particularly if you are running a multistate set of events.

I've had my Featherlite for over 16 years. It still looks and tows like new.

This was my setup a few years ago. Really like the enclosed trailer and the Nissan Titan was a great tow vehicle. Nice to have any trailer and be all setup when you arrive.

Very cool, except the Ford part...
Thinking about trading my non-tilt for a tilt version that will also hold my skid steer and my soon to be show car.
How much does that puppy run +-?
Many thanks,
Nick
