First hit and run on my Z06-need some help.
Went to get my oil change this am and as I walked around my car I saw this. I have NO idea how this happened.
Now my question, where can I get one passenger side spat? No Carbon Fiber damage. Thanks in advance

It's really a judgement call on whether it's better to submit an insurance claim, or pay for it yourself. Something I recently found out is that even "not-at-fault" claims can raise your insurance premiums.
Something else to consider when thinking about filing an insurance claim, or a police report:
Damage reported on Carfax can devalue a car quite a bit. I recently have had two cars severely devalued (trade-in value), because accidents showed up on their search of Carfax. Both were very minor damage, and replaced with all-original parts.

Nope I took a little trip last week and on Thursday I wiped all the bugs off and it was perfect. Friday morning we left with my wife's car to Tempe, AZ for the Pat Tillman Charity run. It was parked in the garage all weekend. I went this morning to get the oil change and saw it. I HATE to accuse anybody of anything, but we had a new girl house sit our dogs all weekend. Keys were right in the counter? I had thought about putting the car in Valet mode, but didn't. Oh well, I will get it fixed and learned a lesson. I am 100% it was not me.

Sure, I'd expect the scratches to show more of a vertical component, if it actually came from someone elses tire.

I vote for the dog sitter. Someone else's tire did not cause that damage. Good thing it was just the spat.

The dog sitter is a super nice girl, but I would have to vote for a pos. boyfriend that saw it in the garage with the keys sitting on our table? Again I hate to accuse, but that kind of damage I would have felt and heard. I have only lightly scuffed the Carbon Splitter and it was LOUD in the car. I am EXTREMELY careful with it.

Maybe the dog did it This could have been far worse had the damage occurred to a not easily replaceable part.
I would lock up the keys, guns, cash, and jewelry next time.

Doesn't look cracked... maybe some filler, sand, spry, and buff? Assuming that it's painted carbon flash, and not carbon fiber. Good luck.

I know exactly what it's from, because I did that to mine, (although not as bad)
I pulled in nose first in the last parking spot in a lot, where the sidewalk/curb run alongside the car...
Backing out, I thought the nose had cleared the curb and cranked the wheel... Not a good feeling hearing that dreaded "scrape" against the curb...
I can't imagine you would have unknowingly done it - it is loud.

Cameras on the property cure all ills. You'll never stop someone from wanting to do damage or cause you harm. But at least you can have someone to be held accountable afterwards.
like an alarm on the house. Doesn't stop the break in but...... it limits te time they can spend in their screwing up the house.
