I'd like to keep the warranty. I don't have too much experience with working on cars.

With 650hp, the car does not need much in my opinion. I would suggest spending the money on the driver at a HPDE driving school or Ron Fellows School. They will teach you more about maxing out your car then any mod to the engine.

Xpipe, TB, and after market Steering Wheel upgrade. If its an M7 definitely an MGW short throw shifter

good point, she is a beast. I haven't broken her in yet so I'm sure it's going to be a completely different animal from anything I've ever driven before.

I'd limit it to a Green air filter , shifter if manual and a Borla X Pipe. Would take a real jerk of a dealer to have a problem with those mods.

DSC controller for 1/2 of your budget. Not any additional ponies, but you will be impressed with the ride and more planted feel.

Great advice.
DSC controller and xpipe should be on top of the list.

I'd say Green Filter, Corsa midpipe, and the DSC controller (which I don't even have but if you're spending money, that's where it should go).

Car won't be much faster, but a little, and will sound better and ride better.

Corsa Extremes w/their Double Helix X-pipe. It might not yield a lot of HP, but it'll sound like it...

DSC Sport Controller - You won't be able to put down the stock power without one. As such, you're really getting an big increase in usable power already there and GREATLY upgrading the chassis.

The best mod is the driver. Do not waste money on 'improving' the car till you've had a chance to properly learn to manage the car and speed at a track.

Also as far as weight savings, people spend inordinate amounts of money buying carbon this and carbon that to shave 10-20 lbs off the car. Suggestion-Try to workout and shave off pounds of yourself.

Once all of that is complete, then Ported Throttle Body and then DSC Controller. Save the rest of your funds for track registration/wheels/tires/pads/brake fluid/helmet and other utensils.

In order of importance...

DSC V2 ~$1300
Ported TB ~$300
Borla Xpipe ~$400
Air Filter ~$100

If it's a manual MGW ~400

Yes these are the mods I have but I have tried and sold many parts for this car.

Best,
Gene

Be sure to save some $$$ for a proper alignment (preferably from a race shop, not a dealer) that also reset the rear caster to our specs, available here: http://www.dscsport.com/wp-content/u...nt-sheets1.pdf

What are you going to do with your car? Drag race? AutoX? Road course?

Chassis Chassis then chassis. The c7 has a wonderful powerplant but before changing it efficiently use what you have put the power down. By working on the chassis you are working on you this is key to improving. A major door will open you will discover what you are looking for!!!!!

My friend if only I knew earlier! I did the other mods first. I'm going to drop a bomb of a review on your controller that's so good if anyone who owns a C7 doesn't get it they're straight up insane. You guys literally took this car that was all that and a bag of chips and finally made it truly fun to drive.

Thank you!!!

Best,
Gene
