Anyone else experience rough / choppy / hesitation during acceleration below 3k?

I'm not WOT, more like 60% throttle, it mostly happens when in boost but sometimes before entering boost.

I'd say symptoms are similar to car running way too rich, or fuel pump is overworked, or bad gas.

I've ruled out traction control.
I've ruled out bad gas.
I've ruled out KR.
Happens when car is cold or at full operating temp.
Happened before and after my 500 mile service.
Already talked to dealer about it, not much info yet.

2017 Z06 M7 w/ Z07 @ 700 miles, 100% stock

I have a blend of CA 91 gas 3:1 100 race gas ~ 93 octane (tried straight 100, no luck).

BTW - 2017 Z06 has a different tune than 2016, so it may only be 2017s or maybe its just me.

Many have had luck with ported throttle bodies to address this issue.

I get a jumpy jerky feeling at times too when its low rpm light acceleration. Doesnt really bother me too much but I do know what you are talking about.....

Might try discussing with Tony Mamo of Mamo Motorsports. Tony produces excellent modified throttle body. You can understand his work by looking at threads in this forum. Keep in mind that your throttler body is the same as on the 3/4 pickup truck.

Got my Tony Mamo throttle body in the mail today -- I plugged it in and there was some improvement on the initial throttle and maybe some improvement on the roughness during acceleration but it's still rough.

The LT4 is notorious for a rough idle, which I also experience, but I've never experienced roughness during acceleration. I run 93 exclusively.

As you already installed a TB without remedy, I would look to make sure that you don't have any leaks in the intake. GL.

I have the same thing on 2016 Z06. 2000 to 3000 rpm, especially in 3rd gear, slight depression of throttle gets the whole car shaking, especially the shifter. Feels like the engine is shaking. Ruled out mass air flow sensor and fuel. Only use Shell Premium. Dealer has been unable to solve. Had a tuner shop put a realtime analyzer on it while driving and was able to see unusual rapid fluctuation in ignition timing. Maybe knock sensor issue.

I also have a 2017 with low miles and experience this. I installed the Tony Mamo ported TB as well and have seen a 50% reduction but it is still apparent. (Tony if you're reading this, I'm still happy with my purchase )

It acts like a 4 banger turbo with low torque or compression trying to go up a hill in 1st gear at low rpm.

My guess is that the factory tune is not very good. Have the tuned guys had this problem go away once they got a proper tune?
