You "wouldn't be caught dead" in any of these cars, Glenn. Because the likelihood of you ever owning one is about nil. You're nothing but a keyboard banging, magazine-quoting drone.

You even have a better spell checker than me! But, never the less your concept of The Ring is truely admirable! If you don't mind I'll keep you and yours up to date on that GFM ACR - Ring as needed, just for giggle's!

Glenn, the last thing I or anybody on the forum needs is you keeping us "up to date".
You have a tenuous grasp of the English language. You have no clue what you're talking about from a technical perspective other than what you read on the internet. And you have no actual hands-on experience with any of this stuff. I'm actually pretty certain my 17-year old son knows more than you do.

Have to agree here too. The torque is certainly manageable and predictable. I can drive 3 of my closest tracks in 3rd gear only. I'm much faster in this car than past vehicles and am comfortable with the quicker pace. The car seems relatively easy to drive fast. But then fast is relative.

When can we expect this ZR1 anyway? I'm ready for one in triple black.

Yeah, the ignore list allows those enamored to comment unabashed! It's an awesome tool!

Your stance on The Ring for instance - that's legendary, thanks!

Why, so you can pay an extra 40 grand for a hundred extra HP you can't use legally?
I don't know about you but I'm getting a Corolla and starting over at 120 HP so I can wish for the 's' model with larger sway bars!

I am hoping the blue collar ZR1 demolishes records. Need to show those aristocratic blue bloods what fat men from Kentucky can do.

My rhetoric is based on fact and is actually germane to the subject matter here; his is based on just plan old unsubstantiated common place ridicule!

This is what the ignore list is for. If you don't then we all still have to see what he says when you quote or respond to him.

You have a point.

IMO, this car is pretty much a full-time track car and should be thought of and used as such.
Driving it on the street is for getting to and from the track.
Hopefully, GM will market it as such and not hype it as their King of the Street.

I didn't notice before on my phone, excuse me. It must be a blast. I just meant I couldn't afford a purpose built car like that. The things are awesome, and I am all over it here, of course!

To be honest though why have you marginalized The Ring so much!? You are respected here. I honestly really don't get it?

Even more, if you own an ACR it would be worth more if it made that record!

Looks like the old Chevy Monza...I always wanted one to make it fast!

Some of us actually go to the track. I plan to get one and track it even more than my C7Z. The current platform is great and can put down more power. The additional aero will only make it more so.

Ha ha. Of course you can't fully exploit its capabilities on the street, this sucker will be for track purposes. Bring it!
