Picked up my new 17 Z. Former C6Z owner. Review and pictures!
Well I finally picked up my new Z. I went with a M7. Why? I love shifting. The A8 may be a hair faster in the quarter, but to me shifting the car, is a far better experience. Also, I plan to track. And from everything I read, the M7 is the way to go. So with the trim, I got the 3LZ. Originally I was going to go with the 2LZ. But, I figured I'm already spending this much, what's an extra few grand. It will have better resale, the leather is softer, and the suede is nice. And I really wanted the red stitching option! Love it. A few other goodies I got were the aero package, carbon roof, carbon dash, stinger stripe, and a couple other things. So I had a 2007 Z before this. My first reaction when I drove the new 2017, wow. The interior is night and day, extremely comfortable and the ergonomics are excellent. I am about 25 miles from finishing my break in period so I can really hammer down soon, but so far the down low power seems to be stronger, more torque. The power seems to be more refined, hard to explain, but easier to handle. One thing I absolutely love is the active rev match, and the sound this thing makes stock is suprisinly loud. The car is all around beautiful, exceeds my expectations and all I wish is I got into one sooner, but I was holding out for the updates with the 2017. So if anyone still prefers the C6 to this, they must not have any seat time, because this thing is night and day compared to my old Z. Just everything outdoes the old platform in every way I feel. Here's a couple pics!

Congrats on an awesome Z06. Consider getting some front wheel well splash guards pretty soon tho as those big ole sticky tires will play a number on the sides. Most go with ACS composite on the front and the GM ones on the rear. Combined with the side skirts you will have fairly good protection.
