Default 2017 Hoodliner Removal

Need to take off the liner and replace with a custom one.
What is the process to remove the air duct fastened to the inside of the hood. Thanks. Rod

If I recall correctly, there a maybe 4 t-15 torx screws on the underside that need to be removed. Nothing crazy to remove it.

I remember a few screws and plastic push pins. It was very easy with no hidden issues...

There are three screws and a lot of clips. After removing the screws you need to pull the vent and extractor down with quite a bit of force. It won't break, but you will think it will. Then pry out the insulator mounting pins with a plastic panel pry tool. Don't drop the push pins because it will end up in the engine compartnent where you will never find it. From someone who knows!

All good points. A buddy told me to lay a sheet over the engine compartment for the very problem you sighted, mounting pins going south into the engine area. Thanks to all, tackling it tonight. Rod
