Do you have an experience with this K&N intake system? Or customer reviews?
I've been dissatisfied with the AFE intake fit and finish and hear the halltech is even worse.

Very quite on the K&N - We've only had 4 returns in 15 years on more than 600 units
Solid air bridge and solid connections, no leaks and a K&N filter, it's a pretty good combo

zfighters,
I have this on my 2017 Z. I have the Carbon fiber intake set up.
Positives
- Increased supercharger sound in the car and definitely outside the car (when its passing you)
- Looks great and easy to install
- I cant tell on quick sprints to 60-70mph any difference in power but seems to pull a little more in 3rd gear (automatic) and my qtr mile times are rally the same with or without it (could be driver error too) 11.1 to11.2 ET is what i run every time no matter what for some reason
Negatives
- Since its an open filter housing, I've notice a little of the hood liner starting to fray above the filter. Almost like its pulling the fabric loose. Have not seen any material in the filter yet though.
- Because of the way the filter housing is made with a weather strip on the top edge, it seals against the hood tightly, so unless you slam the hood, you have to press it down to latch on the passenger side. I've tried to adjust this to no avail and a quick call to K&N said that this is normal.
Overall I like it and it does sound better, but if more power is what you are after, i cant tell any difference at the drag strip. Hope this helps with your buying decision.
