Question for Street/Track Tire Swaps
I have a question for those of you who have two sets of wheels/tires, one for track (Cups?) and one for street. If both sets of wheels/tires have OEM tire pressure sensors, do they have to be reprogrammed with every swap or does the system automatically recognize them?

I'm sure you can but you will get warning and the like and lights on. Question would be these sensors are so cheap why would you run w/o them? Not like the C5s where the sensors where $100+

Thanks for the responses. Secondary question...Any alignment issues either Z07 or non-Z07 package when switching between a street wheel/tire package and a track (Cup) wheel/tire package? If the car is properly aligned (post delivery) will it require additional alignments when switching back and forth?
A friend of mine who recently purchased a new Z06 with the Z07 performance package swears that the factory alignment was way off so he had it aligned after the 500 mile break-in. In addition to the oil change, he also swapped out all factory fluids including the rear differential and the M7 tranny fluid.
