Yes it will! Of course less when the tires are warm and in summer time, but 650+ HP are definitely there.

Now this will only happen if you smash the accelerator. The Z06 is my daily car and is not a problem at all to drive quietly if you wish. Nannies are there and really help. Just be over careful on wet road and I strongely recommend to use the Wet mode when it pour rain.

Only in 1st gear and 2nd gear in the cooler temps (under 70F). Above 70F and with warm tires, my car dead hooks in 2nd.

Is that with the Cup tires or the Super Sports?

Nope not at all. I tried it numerous times today with traction control off and in track mode. Had her in 2nd, rpm around 4,500 and foot through the floor and just took off hard but no tire spin at all. Was actually a little disappointed.

I don't know if it should or shouldn't, but second is a pretty darn tall gear to be spinning from a role. Then again we are talking 650hp.

I have the cup 2s and I will confirm tomorrow.

4500 in 2nd may be too high rpm/mph for this test. I was curious if it would break the tires loose in 2nd down around 2500, (slow roll)?

You figure if it's not breaking loose at 4500 Rpms then it definitely won't break loose at 2500 Rpms. The higher the Rpms the better chance of her breaking loose.

Not necessarily. With these PD blowers, a lot of the peak torque is down low around 3-4K RPM. Sometimes I break loose at 3000 rpm but not at 4500.

I played around with the entire power band from 2,000 to 5,000 rpms and I felt a much higher chance of her breaking loose on the higher band then the lower band. My Z06 is completely stock besides for the Borla X pipe.

Not saying your wrong I am just saying in 2nd gear I feel a much better chance of her breaking loose in the higher Rpms. I actually feel more lag in the lower rpms in 2nd gear
