2018 Z06 Updates?

Unfortunately chevy didn't approach the C7 Z06 as they did the C6 with continued evolution like cars from other continents. Yes, they fixed their cooling issues for 2017/8 which they knew about preproduction. The rest is mostly cosmetics. The aerodynamic interest of downforce and drag stole lots of horsepower unlike the GT 3. Except for no overheating for 2017/18 whats really new mechanically in the Z06? I love my 2011 Z06/7 they evolved the C6 Z06 more mechanically in that generation of corvette.

There's not one time I wished my Z06 had more horsepower. It's that good. It's more a matter of how to best control all that horsepower and torque.

Drifting
I remember reading that the HUD for 2018 would have a horizontal adjustment. Do the 2018's have this feature? I e read posts about the HUD not being or appearing to be level and this was suppposed to address this concern.

Before the Z07 package C6 guys generally had to do some tweaks to maintain temps, avoid oil starving issues, brake issues and so on. From that perspective, the Z07 package was a bargain and let you keep you warranty in tact.

Lots of changes needed and done over the C6Z cycle. Oil cooler to water/oil from air/oil, larger oil accumulator, audio upgrades, added Z07 package, MRC, ZR1, PTM, Michelin ZPs, upgraded half shaft, subtly revised camshaft, T-6060, variable rate steering, power hatch pulldown, upgraded ABS, and upgraded traction control.
Other than overheating many less "needs" apparent in the C7Z. We may get our ZR1 next year or 2019, but so far a pretty stable platform.

Back in the C6 days, the z07 and carbon edition were thought to be the best track car (all the ZR1 goodies but with the LS7). It seems to me the C7GS would be the same idea...
I think the C6 had more "development" because all that tech was so new and becoming affordable...with the New Z06, that tech has already evolved that the changes from one year to another won't be that drastic...thus a car that doesn't need to "evolve" as much...perhaps?
