Default Off to Ron Fellows tomorrow

Heading out to Spring Mountain tomorrow. I've had this trip booked for months and now it's finally here. Looking forward to learning how to properly drive my Z06. It's going to be a hot couple of days but I'll be so glad to get out of this freaking rain for a few days. We had rainy days prior to TS Cindy and now it's been relentless.

See you when I get back.

Consider taking an SD card to record the entire track experience via the PDR. Or, take a GoPro or better yet the new Garmin VIRB.

Default Great school

i am currently on the plane leaving Vegas after attending the school.
if you have tracked your car in the past be patient, as the others will need to learn the track basics before you can turn some hot laps.
Vegas and Pahrump were very hot 110-116 degrees.
even over 100 at night.
the Z06's ran hot after several laps, autos affected more than M7's.
but don't worry they work around it.
Enjoy every minute.... I did.

I just came back from the class. It was awesome.

No need to bring a SD card. You get a free one in the gift shop. I brought one and ended up with a spare.

It's a 2 day course correct? So where did you spend nite before school or do you just bag another nite there beside freebie? Going July but haven't reserved yet.

Yes, it's a 2 day course. One night in the track side condo's is included, but you can book the night before the class at Spring Mountain, I think it was 150.00 for the extra night. When the final day of the class was over we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express there in Pahrump, then drove home the next day.

Going tonight. I'm here at the clubhouse bar killing time before dinner. This facility is awesome. The temp is 108.

Everything there is awesome, breakfast and lunch at the clubhouse each day is quite good as well, have fun. Listen to Richie Hearn when he is teaching you in class or in the car, Ex-Indy Driver, he is a hard *** but knows his **** Also Blake Olsen, younger Instructor, that kid can drive, did a ride with him and was holding on tight Lol.

I got the summer special. Both nights covered. Spent last night at the Luxor. Sitting in Atlanta waiting on my connection home. Will post pics and videos later. I can honestly say this was the most rewarding experience one could have. The staff and facilities are 5 star. I'll be going back for the 3 day course next year. My wife had a blast and did 5 ride alongs with the instructors.
