It's faster to 60 and faster in the quarter, and faster on the road course, so that's about all the places that matter to me.
"From a roll" means nothing to me, that's not even a real thing as far as I'm concerned.
Either way, they're very close. But if you have to pick a winner, it's the A8.

It would be nice if the OP would elaborate what he is trying to figure out. The A8 has lower gear ratio than the M7 so it spins the tires easier. The other cool thing about the Auto is it shifts so fast it will keep spinning through the gears. So you can start fish tailing in 1st and shift to 2nd with no interruption and just keep fish tailing up the highway. At least that's what my GS will do so I assume its even easier in the Z06.
