Oh, it is nothing special....The amazon link posted above (post #11) shows the mic used. I just snake it between the spoiler and clear wicker and then clip the mic to the actual license plate.

Very nice work! Were the guys from the SlipAngle podcast there? I think they put on the GridLife events which is the only reason I've heard of it.
Also, what size Rivals are you running and what was your best lap on South Course? Congrats again.

Running 315/335 Rivals on an 18" wheel. My "class record" time is a 1:32.014 on the South Course. Honestly, the South configuration was my favorite. The north was a little small, and kind of tight, Full was just so long, but South was just right.
Definitely looking forward to the South Festival, especially since it is only an hour from the house! Not a type of event I would normally go to with racing being my primary focus, but this reminds me of a modern day NOPI nights event but with Time Attack.

Below is my melted plastic license tag frame.
But Snorman lost the bottom of his frame and melted/warped the "Corvette" and crossed-flags, and he even got some holes melted in his tail lights!!

Love seeing a C7Z at a gridlife event. Young crowd really has started to get Corvettes on the radar. I'll have my car (hopefully) at the Road Atl event...not running but in the show grid probably. It'll be a Corvette you won't miss....lol.
