Some people buy other things like stocks and land. Don't you think when I spent over $300,000.00 last week from my portfolio on 87 acres of Oregon Tree's..( got it before Georgia Pacific did) AND a cash buy for another Z06 this time a 2017 Z06???
To go with my other land listed for 1.2 million? Plus I have 2 homes and a 4 plex rental with 4 new garages going up right now as well all paid for and plenty of stocks and bonds too.
Just maybe I could have went and bought 2 2009 612's instead.
You may put a big value on your car. Me not so much! Land and houses gain the most value.

Who is the one that mentions in 90% of their posts that they own 2 Z06's, one M7 and one A8????? So, who's putting the 'big value' on their car again?
Though it's hard to be serious with you, I'm genuinely happy for you and your perceived success, I truly am...but going around flaunting and talking about it...remember that quote again...Wealth is quiet, Rich is loud and poor is flashy...Hopefully you'll learn that in life there is always someone with more and someone with less. It's about being happy in your own skin and not feeling the need to shove it down other people's throats. I think you'd be surprised how successful some people on this forum are...yet they don't feel the need to talk about it in every post.
We need to get back on topic...which is about CARS and in this case, Ring Times...GT2RS, silly, ridiculous time for an awesome car, that IMHO will not translate to MRLS or other tracks. Meaning, it will be extremely fast at those places, but not as fast as the ring time suggests it should be, which means to me, it was massaged. Still looking forward to a ZR1 time, which will no doubt be under 7 mins IMHO. But certainly not 6:47, lol.

But, more than anything it had adaptive shocks, torque vectoring, variable power, brakes, and AWS axle movement.
All monitored and on some level computer controlled.
If it beats up cars on our local tracks it will be because of a partially controlling track data script, and a referencing algorithm!

I think it is so wonderful how you keep reminding all of us of your accomplishments. As I have mentioned before, you are my hero. How one person can amass such tremendous wealth in a lifetime is beyond me. You are an amazing rich man. Want to hear it again? You are an amazing rich man.
