Cylinders #1 and 3 with misfires, just like last October.
:|
Dealership was in contact with GM and they apparently said they don't know of anymore issues similar, so nothing will be done at this time. I think there are some posts in here from Stingray owners who had misfires due to plug wires.
Not sure what to think right now. On one hand it's happened twice within about 10 months (CEL flashing, that is) and it never idled rough or dealt like an odd loss of power. On the other hand I'd like for some resolution to it (such as faulty wires/coil/etc.). Will try to enjoy the car for the time being and if the issue pops up again I'll raise some **** directly to GM.

Back to the dealer.....
Flush did not work...... Not even close. May have made things worse, honestly. Wasn't even out of Houston yet and knew that it wasn't having the desired effect. Made for a crappy road trip (at least while on the road) Dropped it off as soon as I got back and now maybe I'll get the converter changed.....

I had the same concerns that you have. I recently bought a 2017 Z06 w/Z07 manual and have put 2200 trouble free miles on it.
This thread makes me a little nervous.
I may be looking to order a 2018 Z06 w/Z07 package A8 in the early quarter next year, and reading these issues makes me a bit uneasy. I don't want to pay that much money for a brand new car that would need to go back to the shop because of one of these reasons listed here.
Plus, I'm, really fussy with my vehicles and do not like leaving it at the dealership at all. Or, even bringing it back there for any service for that matter.
Hopefully the 2018's have less of issues and GM gets them figured out.
Thanks for creating this thread. Very helpful.

This is my second power steering issues now, here is a copy of another thread
This has happened to me twice with my 17' Z06/Z07, once at 26 miles and now again at 262 miles, the first time was slower speed so it was not as much of an issue, found a bad connector believed to be the issue, this time was a different story, it was an off ramp at 60 mph in the middle of the turn, thank god for great brakes. Thought this was a heat issue because the first time was a hundred degrees and all fluids temps were in the 230-250 range, but this time is was 55 degrees outside and all fluids temps were under 200. So they ordered a new steering rack, not want you want to hear with your new car, this car has already been in the shop more than my last 12 corvettes combined, and I still have not hit 300 miles.

Been very lucky
2015 Z07/M7
Almost 10,000 miles, no issues, considering mine is one of the early ones - I am actually the very the first registered owner of a C7 Z06. The only thing I notice in my car that has been mentioned here is the top squeak (sometimes). It just doesn't bother me, though. Other than that, knock on wood.

V4 to V8 growling
2016 A8/Z07 ZL3..Ok, I have had this issue since day 10 of ownership. When the car is switching back and forth from V4 to V8 there is a distinct growling coming from up front. Dealer has change belt tensioner and belt on advice from GM but no joy. sound remains. They opened up a case with GM but now the ingoring starts. I have GM customer care involved and they can get the dealer to contact me going on 2 months now. I was told they would call once GM has identified the issue and has a fix but I dont get any updates. Customer service rep has mentioned buy back but hasnt told me how that works. Any suggestions on what my next step should be? Lawyer letter? Thanks

Seat cover, lower, passenger side
Not as serious as most. However, a pita none the less. Obvious blemishes in the leather. Two tone red/black. Cover is on constraint ! I am incredulous to say the least.

- Heated/Ventilated seats been to the dealer x3. Same issue you can hear
the blower go to high setting, them immediately goes to lowest setting.
- Gas cap lock would not engage. FIXED
- Hot air would blow through the vents even when set to the coolest setting
Service Bulletin - Update to HVAC. FIXED
- Shifter would pop out of gear coming to a stop or just before you take
off or sometimes hard grind going into 1st.
Service Bulletin - Adjusted Shifter. Still would pop out when it was cold.
Installed a Calloway short throw shifter...no more shifter issues. MGW
is also a great choice. FIXED
- When starting up..car would stumble or "gurgle" as well hesitate when
applying medium to heavy throttle. Installed a Tony Mamo ported throttle body.
All drivability issues FIXED. Great throttle response.

I'm having the same issue with the hot air through the vents. Is there a TSB to refer to?

Update...... Triple flush seems to be working. I know I said it didn't work on the last post but apparently they did not triple flush it the first time and I am wondering if they even flushed it once (the first time). I personally think they just did a reprogram. Now that they did the triple flush the car feels much better. The transition from 4-8 is so smooth most of the time I can't tell and only every once in a while does it feel like a subtle gear change. There is a slight noise while in 4 cylinder mode but I am 99% sure it is the belt as the noise is coming from the front of the car. I will schedule a HD belt replacement and hopefully be done fixing the car and start really enjoying it

Mine did the same until I had the HVAC TSB done. No more hot air coming from the top vents or blowing when the controls are off and temp set to LO. Also have your setting set to the floor only it will blow ambient air.

My 2015 had to go in a few times for the screen going black.
They finally put in patch cable that came from GM.
My paint was blotchy on the sides GM paid my body shop to paint the sides turned out perfect.
The 2015 I still have it and love it. I worked with GM and let them fix any issues and had a good result.
I also have a 2017 and you can see the fit finish inside and out and many small details have been addressed by GM.
Very impressed with my 2017 and the Quality you can see is important.
A good dealer service department can be priceless.

If you OWN or have OWNED a Z06 that experienced more than MINOR issues
Please list year of the car, A8/M7, Z07 package/Stage and your location, Briefly list Issue(s) , if still occuring, dealer resolved ( how many fixes involved) , buyback/ lemoned etc.
Please confine your replies to the Subject and please no bashing. This is an information thread, have requested a sticky so we can monitor issues.

I just got my 2015 Z-06, A8, 3590 miles, back from the dealership after they had it for a month. Supercharger bearings were defective....supercharger assembly replaced. Flywheel defective....replaced. Torque tube defective.....replaced. All issues resolved for the moment but this certainly does NOT give me any confidence in the car.
