In touring the ride is very compliant and not harsh at all. In track it's very stiff. The difference is huge. I personally don't need anything softer than touring with the Z07.

I was really worried about this before I bought my Z. I popped for the Z07 package. I love the way mine rides in Track mode. I wouldn't own anything else.

The best part, the wife gets in and I put it in tour mode and she loves riding in the Z.

Order the DSC shock controller and it will make life even better.

I traded a 2009 Z06 for my 2017.

I sure am loving mine now altho only 400 miles on her, trying to keep it under 4500 rpms is not a problem this car at half throttle is unbelievable.I could almost deal with a rev limiter at 45 until I'm more comfortable......NAAAA !!!!!!!!

I wouldn't own a non Z07. DSC Sport controller is a help.

agree

former c6z/z07 owner
current c7z/z07 owner

if we're going to spend some bucks might as well get the sickest of all... until the ZR1 of course.

Prevous 2004 C5Z owner for 13 years, this is a much better ride. Car just looks sick, especially the CCBs!

Just bought mine June 30th 2017. Son and I drove it from Vancouver to Monterey and back with stops to see family in Kelseyville and Chico.....it was brilliant. I put just over 5000 km on the car in two weeks. I absolutely love it!!! I'm so glad I went for the top of the food chain. The carbon fibre side skirts are a beauty to behold. I feel bad for my Gen V Viper GTS now......its....um....not as good 😣 BTW within an hour of being in Cali I was in a full on race with another guy in a green C7....at one point we were well above 100mph....we went over a small bridge and that's when I pulled ahead of him and then let him go **** off other drivers weaving through traffic..for all you people who say the Z07 package is worthless unless you are tracking the car....uh....im glad I had the extra downforce thanx....

No regrets. Would do it again in a heartbeat. The rough ride reports are coming from non-owners and rumors....

My z07 feels downright soft compared to ZL1 1LE which isn't mag ride. I'm actually amazed at how streetable this car is.
