I just had a new BMW M2 try to run with me they are almost as fast as their M4. It was fun when I had to put the hurt on it. He still thought he could compete. Gotta love the Z!

Yeah an M2 would get walked all day by a base C7, I'm sure the Z06 is child's play.

closest thing to my Z06 was my buddies lol.. an ACR Viper was pretty much same as well. UGR Lambo was quicker lol.. all others i have run into?not so much. I like the roll up and 3 horn honk. has happened to me couple of times... out of the blue. there's just no effort on this cars part.. leaves them like they're standing still. A8 @60mph in this car?? is impressive (for a showroom stock 69k (1LZ)car..

Haha, wtf? Those BMW owners. So silly. But, that is the downfall of having a Z06. EVERYONE wants to race you. I had a guy in a Volvo SUV rev on me the other day. I'm like.........dude, stop it already. I will fkn smoke you.

If you ain't got over 800 at the wheels, I'm gonna smoke your ***. I know that. They don't know that. So, I'm pretty much safe on the streets until Tx2K comes around.

Gonna need at least 1500hp. And even then who knows with turbo hayabusa's running around.



BTW OP, thanks for reminding me, a GS is not going to be enough... well I know they will beat every BMW under the sun, but I want to annihilate them like you did in your Z.

Not true. I have a RSV4 Factory. 200 hp. My Z06 walks this bike. From a roll of course. Now, obviously we have no shot against turbo busas. That's not even a fair comparison. haha.

Damn i love aprilia's.

I do agree the Z is a beast. And it sucks cause like someone said, everyone wants to race you. I've had people pace me on the highway, accelerate, then slow down, and continue to do that with me until i bite. And they're in regular family cars too lol. I guess they're waiting for me to put on a show for their kids in the backseat or something.

I had this happen the other day with some d-bag in an old 80's Monte Carlo....was hilarious. I did find out the rev limit for 2nd gear was about 94 MPH...

PS: I ride a Ducati 1199S at the track too. A roll on from 30MPH between that and the Z06? Ducati until you hit 160, easy. Standing starts are hard for the bike because of wheelie control. Beyond 160 the C7 will begin to catch up, aerodynamics. Z06 drag limited to 185? Ducati gearing limited to about the same. Both optimized for aerodynamics, about 200mph. First to reach 180: Ducati.

True. On a stocker Z06. That Duc will win. I think even a slightly modded 750 at the wheels Z06 will run that Duc down. My Aprilia, love it to death, but it's a dead stick after 160. The Z06 continues to pull. I know we got off subject. But, bikes vs cars. Eh. I gobble 600's and 750's and even 1000's up all day every day. Now, you start gettng into the Busas and ZX14's and there's no way. My Aprilia got straight molested by a stretched Zx14 on the bottle. And I mean, got molested. Like, went home and beat the **** out of my gf type beat down. haha. So yea, you'd need well over 1000 hp to run those kinds of bikes. But, how often do you run across one? I live in Houston. I will race anything at any moment. I think I've lost like 5 or 6 races in the Z06 and that was all in one night at the last 2k event. Everything else, they were just dreaming. Your run of the mill douchenozzle in Camaro, Mustang GT, M3, M4. They all think they have a shot. Even a GTR on a roll race will get it's *** handed to him. Very few street cars can hang with the Z06. We all know that already.

Love the Duc. Looked at them, but I'm 6'1. 235. Bike is too skinny for me. Tank is thin. But damn, they are sexy!!!!!!!!

Where do you guys get all these people that want to race you? Around me, they'll speed up race to get up to me. Then once they realize I'm a Z06 and not a base C7, they get scared and drive off. No one ever wants to race me, sadly.

Your Z stock? I'm pushing a tick over 800. I just don't see a 10R chasing me down. I remember those 04 10's tho. They ruled all back in the day. In '04, I have a Zx6r.
