Did your aero (front splitter and side ground effects) come inside the car or with the car? I'm just wondering if the dealer will be able to install them right away when the car arrives?

My wife's '16 had the goodies packed inside. Our dealer received the car in the morning and we were able to take it home that evening with everything installed.

Same as above. Make sure you get both sets of winglets.

I thought you only get the stage 3 winglets?

You get both stage 2 and 3 winglets from the factory. Dealer may or may not install center wicker on the back....just make sure you get it if it's not installed

If you order a vert, I think they ship some of the components separately. If you order a coupe, they are included in the hatch.

Yes, make sure you get both sets. I didn't when I purchased my car off the showroom floor. It was a car that had been originally sent to another dealer out of state and the two dealers traded cars. I had to get GM Customer service involved because the dealers were pointing fingers at each other. One dealer actually called the stage 2 end caps "take aways".

Luckily, GM got it sorted out but the phone was busy for about a week.

Yup.. coupe with the car, vert shipped to dealer. Mine was shipped to the dealer ahead of the car and waiting for it when transport dropped the Beast off.

For the Vert, not enough room to ship it in the car...

My 2018 arrived at the dealer yesterday, and the Level 3 Aero parts were not with or on the car. He said the parts should be in by the end of the week and they will install the parts.

This used to be true. Mine came by courier. Fortunately they beat the car but they got misplaced and almost lost into general inventory at the dealer.

If I had it to do over again, and if I ordered a Z convertible, I'd send an email to the parts dept manager to let them know my parts were inbound and to please hold them when they got there, something like that.

My 2017 coupe arrived without stage 2 parts which were shipped separately and arrived day before car was delivered.

Dealer had no idea and tried to give me car without the stage 2 parts installed, I quickly corrected that and they found the parts in the inventory department just sat there.

Pre 2017 parts were shipped in car itself, but they changed that for MY17 and now ship seperatly

No the Z07 package comes to the dealership separate and usually before the car comes to the dealership. They should be able to install Z07 package right away like they did on mine.

My '17 came from the factory with stage 2 installed, with the stage 3 in the back, along with the brake ducts. Had the stage 3 installed right away and will leave it. I like the look.
