I just have my coolant expansion tank installed, nothing other then that.

They ran a diagnostic without noticing me, that's why they want to charge me $130. The ECU record that I got 158mph when the lights came on.

They can't do anything about the speeds you are running. They built it for track use. I drove mine right in with the track numbers on my car to make a point. Several people I know have had issues related to track issues. The General knows.

If you were in for an issue that's what they need to do and being under warranty they need NOT to charge you. I'll be happy to call them

You are wise to have stopped there...I seriously doubt corporate GM will take issue with it.
You REALLY don't want to lose your warranty.

As far as the dealer goes, I'll pass on what I've learned about Chevy dealers: the quality of dealers vary considerably, move on to another one.
Also, the squeaky wheel gets the grease...don't let 'em get away with this nonsense, keep complaining up the food chain until things are made right.

Thanks. That's what I thought too. However, they told me some BS that the car built for the track doesn't mean it's capable to do that.

I even reported to GM. They said the dealer was right. Because I am the one who go over the speed limit and that's they don't respond for any illegal behavior , which they won't cover in warranty. That's what they told me.

Now I know how's GM make money now.

That's really BS. A manufacture can built a **** car and tell everybody that's 1000hp track ready car. When everyone find the car isn't really for track, just tell them the manufacture doesn't cover warranty for running over speed limit.

Just wondering, were you on a track when you hit 158? I do realize the dealer is not right and the issue should be covered at no charge.

Plenty of us have tracked and been in for service for problems no charge / warranty. Terrible GM and some STEALERSHIPS are so misinformed or don't care.

This is the kind of wishy washy behavior and inconsistency that hurts this car and brand. Hold these dealers and GM accountable. Not covering the car under warranty because you're going 158mph? Put a speed limiter on it then, and see how well you sell Z06's that are elec limited to 80mph so you can keep your warranty. Laughable.
