Front quarter panel to bumper rubbing, causing paint to peel on my brand new '17..PIC
I know this is common, but I figured I would add a picture and show what I'm dealing with. This is my brand new 2017 Z with 1800 miles on it, where the front quarter meets the bumper at the headlight. Both sides are starting to do it. As you can see GM hasn't solved the issues. For others that have this problem, what has the dealer done? Here's a picture. I'm not impressed one bit....

Yep.......good ole GM build quality. Check the side vents carefully. They may have been touched up at the stealership already.

I had the exact same issue on torch red 17 as well plus that fender wasnt fully covered. Nothing like buying an 85k car and having to have front fender and bumper repainted.
Was repainted under warranty.

Well I looked around my car to find some spots like this and I did. I have 2 spots like this on the exact same spot on the both sides of the car and its where the side Z06 emblem is. The bottom of that black Z06 badge and that vent there is some rubbing. I took the car in and the dealership said they would cover the payment if I take it to the bodyshop and the dealership said they would give me a call on Monday with the details.
