Default Ideas on painted supercharger lid

Anyone have their supercharger lid custom painted? I am looking for ideas. Thank you.

May look great but coating aluminum with more paint will hold additional heat in the supercharger housing.

Wrinkle paint finish like Ferrari does so well. I think it looks nice and understated which is an oxymoron with Ferrari!

Default Painting the SC cover

I ordered my matching GM paint from Automotivetouchup.com.
Got the clear coat too. Going on 2 years and still looks good.
Painting tip - coat the letters and the long stripes with a thin coat of petroleum jelly. When fully dried - easy to remove with a single edge razor blade.

Sorry, off topic but where or how did you mount your catch can? Will be installing expansion tank shortly and will need to relocate my MMS can.

Thanks,

Ceramic coat it! You could do both inside and outside, combating heat transfer, and looking good at the same time.

Thanks,
Attached to front water tank mount by a short fabricated bracket with pivot...cut the original oil can mount down as required....you can verify clearance thru the hood vents when hood is closed before tightening.

^^^^ Strapp-please make sure you don't leave the cover on the alternator full time. I've got the same one. I saw the Vendor wrote specific instructions to not drive with it on as it will overheat the alternator.

I went with a simple Shark Gray color match to the other components.
