Anyone add the '17 hood liner?
I added the hood liner but not the tall lid as I may go with the bigger blower instead.
But the 2017 hood liner besides looking much better than my 2015
liner. Seems to have add better cooling along with the headers as well.
As it has leaves an improved 2 inches of room under the hood.

I just ordered one. Cost was maybe 92 bucks or so. Make sure you find a good deal.
as for installation? Looks like a few of those Christmas tree things and a couple screws holding the vent plastic on back side?
I'll have it on by next Sunday hopefully. It was a cheap mod and I like the color vs the plain black.
Pretty cool looking.
not so cool.

Looked it up on Cultragfactoryparts.com and it came back as 23455994.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I just did the same search for model year 2015 and came back with the same number which was listed for model year 2017. So I'm sorry guys, don't know what the actual part number is after that search.

Did the same literally 30 minutes ago. Took a video and bunch of pics as well.
Starts out with this obviously
Snap on trim pad tool and an allen. Sorry forgot size buts small lol
Pull the two allens out and it just snaps right out. There are four tabs barely holding the plastic trim in. And two guide nipples.
Thats the hood vent adapter or trim whatever now unattached from hood.
This is what you're left with.
the two allen screws
This is the correct allen wrench. Ill check size when i get a minute
Probably Overkill but I put the shop towel underneath the tool so it didn't crease or damage the old hood liner just wiggle it until it stops the quick pry and comes right out
Pic so you know what its trying to do when you insert the tool
The hoodliner has two longer tabs that you have to lower the hoodliner slowly and once angle is correct just tug the whole thing and it comes right out. Putting back is easier.
Out with the old
In with the new. Notice the color difference? Strange.
This?
Or this?
If this original was painted like the 2017 up i would not have made rhe change. Bur Isn't so i did.
The view from 2nd floor of Tune Time Performance. My Buddy Matt's shop. His is the white in right.

I have a 2017 with the new style hood liner. While I am not going to the effort to change Or swap I actually prefer the look of the 2015/2016.The deeper ridge design is pretty cool.
