wonder if they will make him go to a Michelin dealer?

Maybe call Michelin and see what they say before you trek down to the peanut gallery..

car dealers are tire dealers. michelin will just tell him to go to a tire dealer for inspection.

tires are not covered under the vehicle's warranty, they have their own warranty from the tire manufacturer.

See how deep it is.. Burn off for 5 min.... Then look again..... Another 5.... You should be good..

It's obviously a manufacture defect the dealer will replace.
