Toying with the idea of shifting from my '17 ZO6 convertible to a new Audi SQ8.

The comparison is apples to pine-cones, but wondering if there are any owners that can speak to a head to head comparison.

Love my Z, especially as a rag-top, but just looking at what's out there!

You'll feel a lot less power of course, but the level of comfort is a lot greater. I would consider going to an RSQ8 to have something that is a little more comparable.

Consider even higher maintenance costs and repairs. My neighbors 2021 or 2022 Audi is literally always in the shop. Last month, his steering rack failed.

Looks nice though.

my ‘17 s6 goes in once a year for an oil change and whatever maintenance called for by Audi. That’s it. My wife is in her third vw and again, nothing but scheduled maintenance. Maybe we’re just lucky but I’ll be replacing my s6 with another Audi and have zero reservations in doing so.

The sq8 is a great machine. Having a warranty and Audi maintenance plan makes the cost of ownership much less of an issue.
