STEALTH Wrapped Z06

I'd actually still prefer a wrap over paint because you can remove it, but couldn't you literally shoot satin clear for about 1/4 the price?
Looks unique and interesting either way, just curious about the price relative to paint.

That said though, STEALTH is warrantied for 10 Years and will protect your paint and resale value, all while making it easier to clean.

It all comes down to the customer and the installer. If you really want everything wrapped to an extreme, then body panels and lights can be removed. This would result in more labor hours and thus a higher cost.

Local dealer has this wrap on a 17 on the showroom floor... they added $7K for the wrap.
It does look pretty sweet...but the one they have shows a lot of fingerprints on the vinyl.

Great question. On this vehicle, not everything was removed so if you look very closely you may be able to see some panels that weren't 100% wrapped. That said, it's still very difficult to notice unless you're really trying to look for it.

To my mind, the only way to place a 'stealth' type film on a car is to wrap the edge of every panel. It needs to look as if the car came with matte paint from the factory imho.

A customer in Austin, Texas brought us this black Z06 and requested a full STEALTH wrap on the car. The result is sinister looking and we are blown away at how it turned out. The first picture is what it looked like before. In addition, Corvettes at Carlisle is quickly approaching and wanted to remind everyone that we will be onsite doing installations with Rose Detailing and Paint Protection. Will we see you out there?

True, that would be a problem trying to keep it clean at all times. Plus the cost of 6k - 9k for a full wrap is insane.

You are not the only one. I too prefer a gloss finish on a car. Satin or flat looks too much like a primer coat of paint imho instead of a finish coat. But to each their own!
