Anyone had the gates belt put on to reduce noise from belt tensioner.

It doesn't seem to be an "issue", aside from noticing a noise which some owners find annoying. It probably wouldn't bother me, since I know what's causing it, and that it doesn't hurt anything.

I have had mine on my car for over 1000 miles. There is a tech bulletin out and if the car is under warranty then GM pays to have it installed. The green belt on my car made the car drive totally normally. Check to see if the car is under warranty and have GM put the belt on the car if you are experiencing 4-8 cylinder wobble which is really annoying. Car drives perfectly now.

I would do the RPM belt over the green any day. The green is a downgrade in performance from the standard black belt, and a big step down from the RPM belt.
Green are stiff long lasting belts made for diesel/heavy duty applications, not performance applications. They are fine, and will work fine for most people, but the RPM line is superior, stickier, and made for blowers.
