Default TVS2300 on my Z06

I've had the Maggie installed on my Z06 for about a few months now. Car made 545 RWHP completely stock - switching to the TVS2300 with an 80mm pulley, tune, and Attack Blue filter in the stock airbox bumped it up to 629 RWHP on 91 octane.

Well I finally got around to adding some water injection, I'm using an AEM frequency based controller with dual large nozzles. Due to fuel delivery concerns on this otherwise stock car, I started with a 50/50 water/methanol mix and 91 octane to end up with 712 RWHP on the smallest (70mm) pulley I had available - but still not enough boost.

Next up I'll be adding a 20% overdrive lower pulley for more boost. I'm currently at about 15 psi and over 25 degrees of timing. I have plenty of fuel so I'll probably switch the injection mixture to 70/30 water/meth (to consumer less methanol) and raise boost to the 18-20 psi range. I'll probably still need a 103 throttle body and aftermarket CAI to hit my goal of 800 RWHP (and 150 MPH 1/4 mile trap speeds) but at least I'm finally making some progress toward that goal.

Great numbers! Is this the heartbeat one that costs $5K?

How's the Supercharger whine from the Maggie? Is it much more noticeable than the stock blower?

Yes, this is the TVS2300 upgrade (5k).

I can notice an occasional whine from it at part throttle and a light scream at WOT. I expect that it won't be quite as quite with a CAI

The SC fits completely in the location of the stock blower. Clears the stock hood with ease and required no other modifications.

Surprised more people have gone this direction. Nice numbers with room to grow.

How does this compare with the gains that people have gotten with pulley ratios and meth injection etc., who didn't switch to a different blower?

The 80mm gave about 13 psi, 70mm is just over 15.

No idea, its a mustang twin roller dyno. I'm sure it would be over 700 on a Dynojet. I will say that there is still a but of Torque Management through the mid range that I haven't completely worked out yet...

Overall the power numbers seem pretty good from this dyno, the Camaro made 730 RWHP and went 9.93@140 full weight (+200lb driver) at a +800 DA which is pretty much exactly what I'd expect from that power level. I'm planning to take the Z06 to the track in about 2 weeks, hopefully I can scrounge up some sticky tires before then.

Stock 545 rwhp how much torque?

Maggie 2300 with 13psi made 629 rwhp how much rwtq?

Just curious on numbers.

I'm curious too. Peak numbers on various dynos, and with various fudging strategies, don't come anywhere close to telling the whole story.

This should do a lot better with lower ITA's. With out the meth.
Want to avoid meth.
The stock blower I have been avoiding the pulley swap as that raise's the ITA's This has more volume. But really no hurry as a 2.9 or 2.9 could come out or maybe out not sure

You'll pretty much need some form of supplementary fueling, anyway, at higher power levels. Methanol has the added advantage of seriously reducing intake temperatures, way more than gasoline, or even ethanol.

I wouldn't be eager to add a meth injection system either, but right now, it's among the more viable options we have available.
