Signature forged wheels. Tough to beat them. Great wheels at an excellent price point. Scroll down a bit and read their thread.

I like the CCWs I have. Strong wheels. I have 18x11 front rims and 18x13 rear rims which were the really hot setup on the C6Z and work well on the C7Z but I have started running Pirelli slicks and an 18x12 rear wheel will work better since the 325 tire width is just a shade too narrow for the 13 inch wheel.

Depends what tire size you want to run.

If I were to spend the money on a forged wheel used predominately on track, it would not be one made in China. I would stick to the ones actually used on real race cars, in televised racing series; Forgeline, Finspeed, or CCW.

There is a trend below. Same wheels I use on my car.

Default Forgeline

I agree with Eric and my vote goes to Forgeline.

They just shipped my GTD1-5 wheels. I believe its the first GTD1 set to go on a C7 Z07. Here is a picture of GTD1 style. 5 weeks lead time. I would order from Bob at Xplosive motorsport since he gets really good deals on Forgeline.

^^^Those are going to look really good! What color did you pick? I like that graphite look quite a bit. I have a set of ML3Cs for my 71 I haven't even seen yet in the transparent smoke I am really excited about.

Thanks bud. I went with Satin black since my Z06 is white with black trim mostly for aero.

Finspeed or Forgeline

CCW since being bought by Weld would be distant third.

I have two sets of Signature Wheels for track use. One in stock size that I use with Sport Cup 2's and a set of 18's with Hoosiers. I've been very please with them, and that's before considering the money saved.

i run scrubbed pirelli pzero slicks from gt racing tires at $150 each. 305 up front and 325 in back. i have finspeed rims 18x11 front and 18x13 in back. echoing what bill d. said earlier in this post, i would have gone with 18x12 in back. i have no rubbing issues, but i do have the Z07 option that stiffens things up.

definitely stick with a high quality rim, you will be exerting much force on them. i also trust forgeline, but finspeed was able to produce my rims much quicker.

CCW TS12 18x11 & 18x13 running 315 & 345 R7 slicks. Fit great! They weight in at 19.5 pounds and 21.5 pounds respectively.

I'm really excited to have just ordered a set of the Katech KT1 wheels made by Forgeline. These will be primarily my street/track wet wheels but I've now bent or cracked 8 OEM wheels so I wanted something I knew would be strong. I'll post up pics once I get them.

Those look great. I've bent two OEM wheels. Two more and I'll jump to forged.

I only see those KT1s in 19x10 and 20x12. I'm guessing you went with 18s though. Do they offer other sizes?

I went with stock sizes to put my MPSS on. If they decide to make an 18x11 and 18x12 I'll probably buy those as well.

Do the rears hit the upper control arm at full droop?

I've also bent a stock Grand Sport wheel and I've heard and seen this happening all over the place - what's going on? Never had an issue with my '15 Z51 wheels.

I think it's a combination of wider wheels and stiffer springs compared to the Z51.

You can't keep increasing width of barrel as it cantilevers from spokes and expect the long tube barrel support the pressures using the same cast methods, without increasing thickness or weights. Inner rim typically warps as it is long ways from supporting spokes.

13" Forgeline do (in my case, damaged my UCA after even jacking up LCA before torquing, to get more clearance). They replaced them with 12.5". Forgeline builds their18" diameter by 13" with 60mm offset (same offset as OEM 20" diameter by 12" wide).
CCW builds their 13" with "reduced" 50mm offset which makes sense.
