2015 Z06/Z07 vs new 2018!
Im torn between getting a Used white 3LZ Z06/Z07 loaded with comp seat suede and etc with 11 000miles on the clock for around 90k CAD. Or i still keep on going with ordering a new 3LZ comp seats suede but no Z07 package. for around 15k more. I dont track a lot, i wanted a torch rd in the first place, but white is my second choice. Obviously i wouldnt have to wait for the 2015! But i absolutely dont mind waiting for the right one! I went look at 2015, like new with few stuff like windows tint, full clear bra, and brand new PSS on it. what would you do! I loved the carbon brakes on my previous ZR1, but unburnished they are PITA!!!!

If you can get that car for 90K CAD (its 95K on their website), that's 72K USD....
In your description you say you can get a brand new one for 15K more, so for 105K CAD, that's $84K USD..... I know that there are some smoking good deals right now on leftover 2017s, but I think you would be hard pressed to find a car optioned like that for $84K....
I'm guessing and rounding a bit here, but i'm thinking a 3LZ, Z07, suede, comp seats, carbon roof car would cost MSRP of $110K+ USD.... so maybe you can find that in the mid 90's, but I doubt it... I don't look much anymore because I bought a car, but when looking I noticed that most of the cars with big discounts weren't optioned near as heavily as this, and the ones that are heavily optioned aren't at dealers that are discounting as much...
So, that's a long way of saying, I think that this white car would be a great deal.... but if you don't care about some of the extras that car has, you might want to spend the couple extra bucks and get brand new.... personally, I'd buy this one over the new one

The only benefit new or main ones are cooking and pdr camera upgrade. Since you don't track or plan to track I wouldn't worry about the cooling, plus the most effective part about The cooling upgrade is the auxiliary radiator that seems to have solved 95% of the overheating issues that only 5% of the people have experienced. You probably won't ever experience that. I have not came close to overheating my 16c7z and I have pounded it at the track.
I was in a dilemma like you but for the 2017 model I ended up picking up a 2016 completely loaded with everything 3lz z07 for 81k new. That being said I'd get the used, and enjoy the amenities.

Number of times I've tracked my 2015: 3
Number of times cooling has been an issue ever: 1
Granted mine's a 'vert so rarely sees the track. Still, since I don't track it a lot, I don't worry about the cooling issues, so a 2015 is perfect for me. I'd only care about Carplay and front cameras, really.

Without hesitation get the 2018! Cooling Improvements made over the first year '15 & 16 model year are worth it. Also in resale value if you don't keep it a long time.

The way dealers are pricing ordered 18's, spend the extra. There are plenty of 2017's available and the chase is fun.

Get the newer car.
IN a couple of months, it'll be 2018. So you'll have a 3 year old car. Even though the mileage is low, it's still used. Who knows what life it lived in those 11,000 miles. It could have seen even 1,000 of the most abusive hard miles ever. That's still 1,000 miles of wear you won't ever know about.
Spend the extra dough and get the new Z. It will have all the upgrades the '15 doesn't have. And you can break the car in right, and drive it the way you normally drive your toys. And have that peace of mind.

2017 or 2018 would be my choice both basically the same car except the 2018 has HD radio. Good Luck!

I got almost exactly the same 2015 as you found but white was my first pick. The price of $72k is great but there will be more choices when people start storing their cars for winter. You may not drive during winter too though.
If red is your first pick, I would wait. Also, if you are going to track, you should look into the cost of replacing CCB. Mine's Z07 and I love it but I'm not planning to track more than couple of times.
I'm impatient so I got what I wanted but sacrificed little more budget. No regret. I eat more ramen noodle.

Red 2018 would be my choice. I always get the color I really want. The white is sharp but I'd go for the 2018.

I was looking to buy a "used" one off the forum, and instead of me doing all the mods and then selling it to someone with low miles and taking a hit, I was going to be the one to make out this time, but then found a new 17' Z06/Z07 manual at 20k plus off, looking was over. Look around for left overs, "used" or order one, the question is, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? You can not really choose wrong

As others have said, the cooling upgrade is only with the M7 and not the auto trans. The 2015 already has the depreciation hit from new if that is important to you, and you can enjoy it for the rest of the summer. Front cameras are nice, but I always back in to park so they don't really matter to me. Best of luck in your decision. Do what works best and don't look back.

Just looked at the pics again, and the 2015 also has a aero ground effect package that is not standard on new. 2015 didn't come with side skirts not the more aggressive front splitter. New has 3/4 side skirts standard and I would prefer full length skirts imho. Just something that I don't think has been referenced yet.
