Your total lack of imagination is noted ... Your emotional (female like) response is laughable.
Sorry but there is no way someone is “feeling” any HP gains from a simple drop in filter. I seriously doubt that they’ gained any throttle response or any non sense of the sort, either.
I did not have to purchase the BMS filter to conclude any of that ... BUT, since you asked (with accusational tones)

I do agree that one isn’t going to feel any power difference from a filter. Even 40hp is tough to feel on a 650hp car. However with my M7 there is better throttle response. Especially when taking off from a dead stop. I already have the Mamo TB and the dead spot at take off is basically gone now. Now in an auto that would be hard to notice as well.

so you did not have better throttle response after adding the filter?

It was really a night and day difference on my MY17 M7. A ported TB made a small difference in the engine surging / choking under slight throttle. Have had the BMS on for a few months have not not had any hesitation since.

My "female like" response, huh? So you're a sexist too? Good to know. The BMS woke up my car as far as throttle response goes so if it didn't do anything to yours I don't know what to tell you. I stand by my earlier claim that your placebo effect comment is fake news so maybe you should go get a job with CNN. Have a nice day.

I did a bms filter mod this summer. I noticed a difference. I'm not saying it got faster but definitely smoother.

for the m7 guys they will know as the driving experience is more involving. A8 guys probably won't know as the computer does everything and the mental note of not doing anything but leave it in D, should conclude to that theory.

It's not a typical drop in filter. Due to addressing fundamental issues with the factory filter design (not just the material) the BMS drop in provides the same power gains you see on the full intakes like AFE & Haltech, and the new GM intake. Both on stock tuning and after you've tuned it. Whether you can feel 20-40hp is another story.

Good to hear your experience. I too have a '17 M7 Z with Mamo TB which helped the hesitation some but a BMS may be in my future, thanks
