Could you go into detail about rarefaction waves, resonance, and impact of runner length in this situation. Would you base that on centerline radius, if so on which side? Also, could you outline the pros-cons of the scavenging and the affect on VE throughout the rev range vs a more "straight" header with less bends. What actually leads to "restriction" and does "restriction" equal reversion? When the exhaust valve opens, does the pressure variation that exists at the valve face/vs the chamber get increased by this apparent restriction? You also bring up heat. Does more physical steel increase heat retention within the engine bay? Does that heat lead to reduction in flow rate or does that heat affect the boundary layer within the runner?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but your immediate comment to "flow" made me think you must be knowledgeable on the subject.

There was a guy on the Camaro5 forum that was working on something very similar to this for his Camaro.

Damn even WeaponX chimed in on this!

I'm a buddy of the OP.. I'll give my honest opinion on the sound once I hear it.

9/26 update

36” is the magic equal length number. 36” is good for engine making its powers in under 7k rev so I think I’m good there with the LT4

VS stock? None, should be lighter. Shouldn’t be much or at all heavier than long tube off the shelves. Runners are 1 3/4” and kept at the equal length at 36”

There is potential for more power and will definitely make it sound like a Ferrari. Here is a short sound clip from my C5 Z06 with equal length 180 degree headers,

How skilled is your fabricator? Has to be done on car since the runners are like spaghetti and jig isn’t worth the effort.

90 hrs of fabricating.... so expect to pay dearly unless you get a major hook up on cost per hours.

Can't wait to hear this thing. looks like that fabricator is doing a great job. Will you be keeping the valving downstream or just running a standard muffler?

Will be running stock mufflers. I need the valves for those long distance cruises when I want peace and quiet.

10/05 update
Some weld ****!!
Attachment 48356099

No “bundle of snakes” on passenger side. “Bowl of spaghetti” according to my fabricator. It was extremely difficult to keep it equal length and runner specific each cylinder routes
