I am the guy behind the welding hood of this project. Im very glad Deity.Motorsports has let me be creative and build these headers for them.

Well if you have any question ask away!

Default This thread grabbed me!

Not sure why! I love it that hot rodding is still alive and well. I guess I like this thread because it's all mechanical. And the craftmanship is unbelievable. About 4 tubes into this I'd be hitting myself over the head with one of those 36" sections of pipe!

Can't wait to see and hear this when it's done! Amazing.

I even rated this thread as excellent-never rated a thread before.

The craftsmanship is simply amazing. If something like this was made by Kooks or ARH it would cost well over $3000. Even if there is no power or sound advantages it is still amazing to watch.

The op mentioned the labor will be 60 to 90 hours of fabrication. In the Bay Area, shop rates are around $100/hr. I don't think this will be an inexpensive project. I'm also waiting to hear the sound.

Thank you fellas! This project is unique. I contemplated on spending this money on a bigger supercharger kit but at the end of the day, I can’t really go full throttle much with 1000whp and it’s all going to be a straight line car.

I think the amazing unique sound appealed to me much more. 600whp is plenty for daily cruising and occasional track days.

Car is currently at 23k miles in just 17 months so I’m planning on hitting 100k before I get another Vette, will be my 2nd Vette only. Mid engine Vette hopefully.

I thought 180 degree headers typically have 2 from each bank in a collector?

Sure is, we had to do flat 4 collectors in order to cross the banks. This is what they will look like. Thank you to Tinmatt for paving eithxway with his C5Z

From the pictures his collectors will be stacked on top of each other with 2 pipes from each bank going into them

2 tubes from the odd bank go to the bottom collector and the other 2 tubes form the same bank feed into the top collector and the same goes for the other side

Car will be done today! I’m crazily excited!! Been awhile since I got to drive it. I kind of get what snow states owners feel like.

Cunningham Motorsports will do the tuning. Only on crappy 91 octane CA gas. No e85 since I’ll be out of fuel without meth

The engineering and craftsmanship on this project are both off the chart fantastic.

Most kickazz thing I've seen on the forum in a looonnnnggg time.
