Default Dash Command is a great value for the money!

I've been looking around for an affordable device that can monitor the my IAT and etc. I didn't want to a lot of money on a HP tuner software or dash logic unit (I didn't like how you can only view your information on TOURING mode only with the dashlogic).

I came across an app called Dash Command for $10 on the Apple Store. Purchased that app and a OBD2 dongle for $20. Total spent was $30 and it works like a charm.

Great find!
Does this record any data or just monitor?
Also, are you using the same mount for your phone?

Keep us posted on what it can and can't do please.
It appears that timing is not working and power only goes up to 500, but the other features look very interesting, especially for the price!

Timing works for sure. I was testing it out earlier this morning. For $30 I'm happy with the data it shows me.

Ok good, I just noticed in your first picture that the car was idling and timing referenced NA. I most likely will give it a shot too!

It is a great tool at a very low price. I used it to datalog my C6 timing, O2 sensors, fuel trim, rpm, vehicle speed when I was troubleshooting a hanging idle problem.

Not yet. I'm trying to figure out if Dash Command support IAT2 reading on their app. I know Torque Pro app does but it's for Android only.

See if you can view MAT(manifold air temp)instead. MAT is what alters spark.

Go into your iPhone's Settings tab...then WiFi... under Choose A Network you should see the OBD-II listed as an available network. Select it and the phone will connect to the OBD-II and show the little WiFi graphic in top left corner of your phone screen.

Then open the Dash Command APP and it should automatically try to connect. You'll then need to check your APP settings and set up your vehicle, etc..
