Interesting. I thought maybe they'd bump up the horsepower a little.

With all the rumors and speculation I thought we'd see some significant changes in 2019......

Honestly, the car hasn't even been announced and you want Ken to answer that?

That did not work for the 1970 Corvettes. 1969's are worth the same or more and they made twice as many.

You got off easy. I got my brand new '16 in April 2016, a few months after they were available...and in under two years, the 2019, 4-model years ahead, will be out. ******* GM. Now wonder these cars are sold at +20% off and are worth nothing in the used market. They hold value as well as a Prius. Great cars, but definitely NOT worth buying at the onset of a new model year. Great bang for the buck, if you buy at the END of the model year...

clarification: I was asking the question about production of model year ('m-y') '18s, not my '18 (I don't have one).
Sorry if I created confusion, and thanks to all that responded !

Depends on how you look at it!
Actually they made about half the numbers in 2017 Z06'sof the 2016's and even less for 2018's which helps your car price. 2015 Z06 has two awards by KBB
resale car of the year. Also used car of the year! 2015's are holding value very well!

Generally speaking, don't worry about a couple grand, give or take in resale. It's only taking away from the greatness of ownership. Generally speaking.

The only time I made money on a new car was when I bought a 2008 Viper $92,000 MSRP bought it for $61,000 Sold it for $66,000 a year later. That rarely happens !!!!!
