Default C7 ZO6 rear wheels drag setup

Im looking to get a drag setup for my Z with carbon ceramics. I just wanna get a set of rear wheels with a good slick. What is the smallest wheel I can get in the rear with the CC setup?

You can't run true slicks on the rear without converting the rear spindles/brakes for 15" rims. Next best thing are the 18's mentioned above using drag radials.

I'm certainly not doubting you on your customers running 9's with 19" Nittos, but I would love to see that. We're running 345/30/19 Nitto NT05r's and unless the track is prepped to the max we have challenges hooking. Just curious what air pressure they're running to click off a 9's second pass.
Thanks!

I ran 9.90 on 19" nittos but it was a great track prep and I was making 800hp and they were brand new tires. Video is on you tube on Talon tsk 97 videos

If you want some cheap Drag radial only wheels, i would do forgestar CF5 18x12, worked great for carbon brakes, light and cheap compared to forged wheels!

David 4359,
I decided to switch things up and purchased a rear set of 19" NT05R's. I went to the track a few nights back, along with daily driving and I must say I am SOOOOOO disappointed in the NT05r's. I should have stuck to my trusty MT ET SS drags. Needless to say, any recommendations for the NT05R on launch. They are new so I might as well use them until I order another set. The MT's would hook right away from the garage or the track whereas the NT05R's want to break loose all the time. Thanks

You need ET Street R for any type of drag strip action. 325/35/18 on 18s of your choice that clear CCBs if you have them.

NT05s are not gonna hook period on a track if your car is tuned and leaves hard or it’s a stick car.
