I went with Hawk pads on my '12 Grand Sport and Power Stop Z26 on the '15 Z06. Both are great at reducing dust (virtually none). Didn't see any difference in stopping ability.
There are some forum members who have went with Power Stop Z23's on the Z06 with good reviews from what I have send. I think they are a bit less expensive than the Z26 pads as well.

Without stating your goal it's impossible to answer your question. You don't even mention if you have iron or CC brakes....
If you're a car show/cruiser guy who worries about dust and doesn't "drive" the car any cheap ceramic pads like Power Stop will work fine. If driven HARD on Powerstops for 5 minutes they will overheat and be rendered useless. Most don't have this issue as they don't drive their cars in this manner. Good pad for a mildly driven street car.
If you want a track pad the Raybestos ST-43 is excellent and easy on rotors.
If you drive the car hard on the street with light track use the OEM pads are VERY good.

You won't be disappointed in Powerstop. Just choose what you are going to do with your car. Track day or street pads.

I am looking for track pads for iron rotors. I don't care if they are noisy or dusty. Also, how much material is required generally for a one day event at the advanced level (not elite) on stock pads?
I don't want to throw mine out early but I don't want to come up short either.

I'm thinking XP 8/10 or XP 10/12. I really like the performance of the stock pads but if I could improve on that I might as well as long as the price is close. What do stockers cost?

Thanks Adam! I already have Motul 600 installed. Is Castrol compatible with Motul? Is Castrol significantly better?
