[QUOTE=DevilDog II;1597840336]Love the hi-rise portion of the hood. The vents make it a little too busy in my opinion.[/QUOTE
I agree totally!!! The hood is way to busy, the side vents are not needed at all and greatly detract. I also think the "hole" before the high-rise portion is to large, its starts to far forward on the hood and is just to large looking, like the "blow-hole" on a whale. The front of the high-rise portion is to high as the top of that section should run parallel with the hood itself which is lower in the front than in the back. This could be made into a great looking hood but needs to be reconsidered and toned down.
I have described what I would like in order to be a buyer and I have already encouraged him with these suggestions, he invited me to pay for it in full first and he would build a new mold so he could produce that version of the hood. I am not interested in financing his operation, but would be a paying customer for a finished and inspectable product.

First of, I only said my people is asking for a group buy commitment of 5 hoods deposits in order to invest in a brand new mould. They don’t come cheap. I never said anything to pay in full first...
the hood is raised exactly 25mm in the cowl front to back. because it is a flat piece, it doesn’t seem that way from certain angles. So far, none of my 10 customers installed the hood and ones that seen it in person love it.
This is not for eveyone...

Please message me a price, with it painted, to 33401. I don't own a corvette yet, but I am curious what it would cost to upgrade my vehicle with this hood should I buy a c7 z06

we don’t offer paint because freshly painted hood doesn’t do well in packaging for shipping. Locally is the best way, especially of your car has some miles in the sun. Paint ages with exposure.

Glad you chimed in. I think you guys and me might have a similar need. You offer a top mount single turbo setup and I too am running a single turbo setup that, like even the blower cars, could use a a tastefully designed hood that effectively evacuates underhood heat. One of the tradeoffs of top mount/front mount turbos is underhood heat. I'm not a big fan of tall cowls or vents everywhere, however one that has vents in the right places, while keeping the attractive lines of the OEM hood, would be great.
