*Heavy on Pics *11/5/17 Corvette Delivery Post/Barn Finds/ads~Mike Furman@Criswell*
~Yesterday I had 19 appts to talk Corvette...throw in the 50+ emails per day I receive and that will be the first clue Corvette sales are hot. Nothing moves the needle like a great Sports Car with big factory incentives. On the way is the 2019 ZR1 news...Sebring Orange Tintcoat starts being produced Dec 11th, of which I have ordered 15 Corvettes in that color for stock and sold orders and of course more C8 Mid Engine banter. In 40 years of selling the Worlds #1 Sports Car I have never seen the Corvette Horizon to look so darn good! Send me an email if you would like to be put on my monthly Corvette update email list (mfurman@criswellauto.com)
The unique view I have is that the Corvette Plant must be building a heckuva great car if I continue to see conquest sales from former owners of Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW etc etc...In all my years I have never seen those buyers not only in the Corvette market, buying a C7 and raving about it!
Spotlight on a couple of deliveries...
~Wayne and Marianne C. Of Ocean City, MD picked out a new 2017 Corvette GrandSport in Black with Brushed alum wheels, 2LT Pkg, Black badges and auto trans! We first met a few years ago at the Ocean City Corvette show. Wayne traded in his 7spd 2016 Black Z06 with just under 23,000 miles and he is thrilled with his new ride!
~Mr and Mrs. anonymous from PA picked out a new 2017 Corvette Stingray this past week and took delivery Saturday. With Thanksgiving so close the plan is to surprise all the Holiday guests. This 2017 Stingray Cpe is painted Long Beach Red with Black interior, 7spd manual trans, 1LT Pkg, Magnetic Select Ride and performance exhaust. I will post the smiling face pictures at the end of the month.
~Other deliveries leaving the yard...as you can imagine the 20% off Sale on the Corvette engine SS is successful. At the start of the week I had 45+ SS's in stock and in three days delivered 9 SS's! Call 301-212-4420 to find out more about the last of Holden's SS.
Yesterday I sold the very last Black Rose C7 produced...next week a young lady will be taking delivery of this beauty at high Noon...trading in he 2017 Corvette for a 2018.
~The Frank Class Barn Find and Corvette throwback section...got some good pics this week so post up which one is your favorite.
~Carlisle Corvette Event this year with my North of the Border friend.
~Thrill to have driven the Camaro Pace Car for the 12 hours of Sebring a few years back!
Have a great week!

Great thread as always, Mike. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite from the nostalgia photos because they're all so good. I do have to say the '63 SWC has to be one of the most photo-friendly cars ever made. BTW, just back from the week at SEMA and no one at GM was giving up anything about a ZR1 or mid-engine so there's obviously something going on. No denials; just no comment. Have a great week.

Great pics! A lot of favorites for me one being the man with the young boy passenger in a sea of other C1's. I am amazed at how many pics showed people sitting on Corvettes even dog paws up on the side of one, something that today would give a lot of us a stroke!

As always Mike Great thread! Missed the whole forum yesterday working crazy hours and Sunday nonetheless
thanks for the smiling faces and corvette stories. Need that right about now. Another person I worked with passed at 35yo. Stroke 4 days ago and gone yesterday. Perfectly healthy up until. 2 young children. For anyone reading this thread and thinking about buying their first new corvette? Don't put it off. Get it. Enjoy it. Live life.
I met Mike last year at Carlisle and upgraded from a C6 to a new C7Z. A present I was saving for retirement up until several people close to us passed in their 30s and 40s inside if a year.. unreal..
Mike's professionalism, kind demeanor, and personality made the choice easy for me. As he has done for so many thousands of others. Like an old friend. A friend for life.
