2018 Z06 or GS
Question, I am hearing that there are over heating issues with the Z06 2015/16.......
I am about to purchase a 2018 Z06 but I don't know if this issue has been addressed by GM on the newer models or not. I am thinking of just getting the GS and passing on the Z06....all ideas and comments are welcomed and thanks in advanced....

ZO6.no contest.GS only if your driving skills are not up to the power of a Z06.

Overheating is only an issue with Z06s that are tracked on a Road Course. There are no issues when driven on the street/highway/canyon carving or drag strip. M7s with the added secondary radiator (standard on 2017, 2018, 2019 M7s) are pretty much immune from on track overheating even in ambient temps in the mid 90s. A8s are a different story. You need to know how to use the paddles to select the gears and to keep out of the lower gears.
Again not a problem for a street/strip car. Only road course cars.

If you aren't tracking it you'll be fine. Otherwise get the M7. It doesn't have the same issue.

M7 is the best, nothing like rowing thru the gears, the beast will take your breath away. I have a friend that has both a GS & Z06, he will tell you the Z is the only way to go, just no comparison. He got the GS auto because of his failing knees, but the Z is what he drives the most when he can.
